Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier - Maerzen Smokebeer - VERY RARE!

Aecht Original Schlenkerla Maerzen Smokebeer is unpasteurized and made entirely from smoked malt. It has been brewed for centuries in the baroque town of Bamberg in Franconia (Bavaria/Germany). Following the most ancient malting traditions, all its select barley malts are kilned over a fire of beech wood logs at the Schlenkerla maltings. Brewed in classic copper vessels and matured for months in 14th century cellars, Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier is a truly unique smoky beer experience.In the middle of the old part of Bamberg, directly beneath the mighty cathedral, one can find the historic smoked beer brewery Schlenkerla. First mentioned as "House of the blue lion" in 1405, the Schlenkerla is today run by the Trum family in the 6th generation and is the fountain of Original Schlenkerla Smokebeer (in German language it's called "Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier").
